I am accepting nominations from now until February 25th Labels: RFS Blog Awards Wednesday, February 03, 2010 Bullets? Meh, I'd rather use knives... I have nothing in particular to blog about- so a hodge podge of crap it is!That sounds bad.... Labels: Bullets Monday, February 01, 2010 churchey church church McChurch Every Sunday I go to church with Stephen and the boys (to show support, be a part of the family, blah blah blah). We sit near the back and there's this teenage girl who sits in the front with her family; and she always has this look of disgust on her face. Like she's way too cool to be there and is obviously not paying attention. And it always annoyed me- until now. See, in high school I was uber Catholic. There are Catholics- then there was us. Beyond Catholic. Every moment of the day was pretty much devoted to God. At least... that's the image I portrayed. I always got annoyed with the high school kids who wore the latest fashions and had an attitude of not caring because of peer pressure. But I realized I was just as suseptable to peer pressure as they were. Only instead of drugs or patying or whatever... it was whoever loved and worshiped God the best. I never believed- but everyone needs something to believe in, and needs a group to be a part of at that age. That was mine. So- I can't look with too much disgust. Still, I think she should pay attention. What a brat. :) |
